NLive Radio will be hosting a public hustings for the upcoming Hackleton and Roade by‑election, giving residents the opportunity to hear directly from candidates standing for election.
The hustings will take place on Friday 1 May, held within the ward area. Attendance is free, but tickets must be applied for in advance via the NLive Radio website: https://nliveradio.com/hustings
The event is open to all candidates who wish to take part. The following candidates have so far confirmed their attendance:
- Maggie Clubley – The Conservative Party
- Peter French – Labour and Co‑operative Party
- Dave Pearson – Green Party
- Stephen Gordon Shellabear – Liberal Democrats
The hustings will provide an opportunity for candidates to outline their priorities, respond to questions, and engage with local issues important to residents of Hackleton and Roade.
The event will be recorded on the night and broadcast on the NLive Radio Politics Show on Sunday 3rd May from 9:00am, ensuring wider access for those unable to attend in person.
