Northants-based software company Web Alliance is celebrating after being named as a finalist in two categories at this year’s SME National Business Awards.
The family-run business has been shortlisted for Business of the Year (less than 50 employees) and Employer of the Year, putting the company firmly in the spotlight on the national stage. The Web Alliance team will be flying the flag for Northamptonshire when the finals take place in London on 6 November 2026.
Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Ashish Kumar and Iram Gilani, Web Alliance builds bespoke CRM, ERP, mobile app and workflow automation systems for growing SMEs across the UK. Headquartered in Northampton, the business has developed a reputation for making fully customised software accessible and affordable for smaller companies, helping them streamline operations, improve visibility and scale efficiently.

Web Alliance has grown from a small start-up into an international business, with a UK-based account management and consultancy team supported by an in-house development team in India.
The Employer of the Year shortlisting reflects Web Alliance’s commitment to creating a positive, supportive workplace culture. The business invests heavily in training and development, with protected learning time for staff, regular team communication and a strong focus on giving employees the opportunity to grow with the company. To date, no employee has ever left the business.
