Web Alliance named finalist in The National Small Business Awards 2026

Northampton’s Web Alliance has been named a finalist in The National Small Business Awards 2026.

The bespoke software development company has been shortlisted in the Professional Services Small Business category, recognising its work designing and building custom CRM, ERP, mobile application and workflow automation systems for growing small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK.

Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Ashish Kumar and Iram Gilani, Web Alliance was created to address a gap in the technology market. Today, every system it builds is tailored precisely to a client’s processes, helping businesses streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies and grow without being constrained by unsuitable technology.

Thirteen years on, Web Alliance has supported hundreds of SMEs, built 70 long-standing client relationships, achieved consistent 30% year-on-year growth and established itself as one of the UK’s most trusted bespoke software partners for the SME market.

Ashish Kumar, co-founder and director of Web Alliance, said: “We’re really pleased to be named a finalist in The National Small Business Awards. It means a lot to be recognised alongside so many brilliant small businesses and we’re incredibly grateful to our customers for their continued support. As a small, family business ourselves, we understand the challenges SMEs face when technology no longer fits how they work. Our aim has always been to make bespoke software more accessible, transparent and effective, so businesses can grow with confidence.”

The Small Business Awards celebrate small and independent businesses from across the UK and mark their 10th anniversary this year. Winners will be announced on 13th November 2026 at a live event at Rutland Hall Hotel.
