March 2026: Brackmills Industrial Estate Business Improvement District (BID) has launched
a new section on its website to celebrate the businesses that make the estate what it is –
from a European IT leader that has called Brackmills home for 25 years, to a family-owned
vending company transforming its industry one sustainable machine at a time.
The new Business Spotlight series reflects the BID’s core objective of supporting businesses and people: not just through investment in infrastructure and safety, but by giving resident businesses a platform and a voice.

according to two well-respected experts appointed to the board of the town centre’s Business
Improvement District.
Branch manager of NatWest in The Drapery, Mark Townson, and Matthew Tyrrell, a director of
Michael Jones Jeweller, will now work alongside other business leaders to oversee
Northampton BID’s work as it looks to make the town centre a better place to work, live and
visit.
